Paste HTML or plain text. In plain text a blank line starts a new paragraph; lines starting with “#”, “##” or “###” count as headings.
Used to tell internal from outbound links, e.g. example.com

What does this tool check?

It runs your content through 22 checks based on core on-page SEO rules and weights them into a 0–100 score:

  • Keyword: does it appear, is its density too low or too high, is there keyword stuffing?
  • Page title: is it 40–70 characters, does it contain the keyword and secondary keywords?
  • Meta description: is it 100–160 characters, does it start with the keyword?
  • Heading structure: is there a single H1, are H2s and H3s used, does the keyword appear in headings?
  • Links: are there enough internal and outbound links for the content length, are links duplicated?

How to read the score

80 and above means the content is well prepared technically. 50–80 means a few fixes will improve it. But the score is a checklist, not a measure of quality. Google and AI systems mainly look at how well content answers the question and how original and trustworthy it is. Do not force the keyword in to raise the score; anything that hurts readability costs you in the end.

How to use it

  • First, to analyze a live page, enter its URL and press “Fetch”; the title, meta description and main content fill in automatically. For a draft, paste it directly.
  • Then enter the focus keyword and two or three secondary keywords, and press “Analyze”.
  • Finally, start with the “Needs fixing” list; “Could be better” items are optional.

The analysis engine is Bishwas Bhandari’s open-source SEOrd library (MIT licence). Its HTML parsing layer was swapped for a small browser adapter so it runs client-side; rules and scoring are unchanged. Thanks for the work.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Short answers about content SEO analysis.

What is the ideal keyword density?

There is no single right number. This tool treats roughly 0.5% to 1.1% as healthy. What matters is that the keyword appears naturally; repeating the same phrase in every paragraph counts as keyword stuffing and hurts.

Does the meta description affect rankings?

It is not a direct ranking factor, but as the text shown in search results it affects click-through rate. Write 100–160 characters that accurately summarise the page.

Is a score below 100 a problem?

No. Some checks, such as starting the meta description with the keyword, are recommendations. Above 80 is a good result; improve the rest without breaking the natural flow.

Is my content sent anywhere?

No. The analysis runs entirely in your browser. Only when you use “Fetch” is the URL you enter sent to our server to read the page; nothing is stored.
